Part of Lesson Plan: Career Opportunities in the Travel and Tourism Industry

Activity Overview / Details

Each group will have a large white sheet of paper in the middle of their table with their career area title on it. They will list any and all careers that they can find both in career books and on the internet to share with the class. These papers will then be posted around the room for all students to see. They will take notes and write down any career areas in which  they are interested for their personal research.

(Our library has a set of hospitality career books, so the library and computer lab will be used to conduct research on these topics)

The group will also find 5 current job postings and salaries for the careers in their sectors. The sheet is attached for assignment.
