Begin this activity by placing students into groups of 2 and give each group the following electrical components. ( The list of components from from Radio Shack with there part numbers and cost)
1. 2 ea 2750652 DPDT 6 Amp Lever $3.99 each (only one needed per circuit)
2. 5 ea 2700324 9V Battery Snap Connectors $2.99 for the package of 5 (only one needed per circuit
3. 2 ea. 2721134 #1487 Lamps $1.99 (only one needed per circuit)
4. 1 ea. 2720357 E10 Lamp Base $1.99
5. 1 ea 2300853 9V Alkaline Enercell Battery $4.99
6. 10 ea. 2781156 Jumper Leads $7.99
Total Radio Shack Cost $27.43 plus tax
