Part of Lesson Plan: How Much Does This Job Pay?
Activity Overview / Details
Re-group the class. Have one student write on the whiteboard/Interactive board. List all the jobs discussed in the Salary Guide. Have students add their names to the jobs they are interested in. All students' two choices should be noted on the board. Discuss what would happen in a company if too many people wanted the same job. Also discuss if there are no applicants, for example, marketing, or legal. Have students 'volunteer' to change desired jobs to make certain that all job listings are covered.
