Principles of Logo Designs

Activity Overview / Details

Upon entering the class, give students the handout Building a Logo. Ask the class , "What do you think a logo is?" See if anyone can give you an example of a company logo. If they look at their handout they will see samples to draw from.

Go through with the class discussing the five principles of effective logo design. Have the students reference their handout and take notes. Ask the students as you're displaying the principles and logos, "Do you know the logo? Why do you remember it?"
