Acting for Animators
Part of Unit: Animation Production
Lesson Plan Overview / Details
The animator/director needs to understand and use principles of
good acting when creating character and story. The lesson
includes practical knowledge and illustrations of seven basic
elements of acting that an animator should know, as well as a
foundation in facial expressions.
This lesson is built primarily on the work of Ed Hooks and
Paul Ekman.
