Activity Overview / Details
After the nailing competition, students are given the Nailer-Stapler Safety Handout for review and discussion. Students are shown the different types of pneumatic nailers and staplers. We will also discuss the uses of each, how the fasteners differ, and the applications. Students will also be shown a selection of brads, nails, and staples of different gauges, lengths, and collation methods. Do I use a brad, staple, or a nail for my fastening my project?
