Activity Overview / Details

When all groups are done with the shop activity, debrief the class on the following:

1. Review the fire triangle, the inspection, and the acronym PASS.
2. Review the location of the fire extinguisher and remind them of the importance to know where the fire extinguishers are located and how to use them. 
3. Review the classes of fires.
4. Emphasize the importance of knowing how to use the fire extinguisher in the event of a fire emergency.
5. Emphasize the importance of good housekeeping and storing flammable materials in the proper storage cabinets to minimize the risk of fire.
6. Ask for student feedback on the activity.
