Activity Overview / Details
Students are asked at the beginning of class, "You get in your car and turn the key and nothing happens." How many of you have had this happen to you or somebody you know? What did you do? Asking these open ended questions opens a dialog and draws upon the student's experiences while also introducing the key components of the starting system and some of the different diagnostic and service methods. Students always have colorful no-crank stories and sometimes novel solutions.
