A Year in Review: 2017-2018

This last year, we brought together a team of amazing educators from across the state to collaborate, create new curriculum, and strengthen our CTE Community, including:

  • 136 CTE and Academic Core Educators from the coasts of Northern California to sunny San Diego
  • 15 Industry Sector Community Leads
  • 13 CTE Team Leads
  • 3 Subject-Matter Specialists



What We Created

Through their hard work, hundreds of new lesson plans and project-based learning curricula were developed. We've got lessons on everything from the Hydraulics of Hurricanes to a look into the Dirty Secrets of the Fashion Industry. And now, they're available for YOU to start using in your classrooms!

As of June 2018, CTE Online has over 84,000 registered users

  • A new educator is signing up to use CTE Online every 15 minutes
  • Our 15 active Industry Sector Communities of Practice are utilized by 103,880 CTE Online members (with many joining multiple communities)

This site is managed by Butte County Office of Education's CTE Center and maintained by the Center for the Advancement of Digital Resources in Education (CADRE), with collaboration from the Career & College Transition Division and funded in part by the California Department of Education.
