Adding Text and an Image to a Webpage (CTE)


Adding text to a webpage is easy to do, but when adding an image this can be a little tricky. The image has to come from either a PC, contained in a file that will be uploaded to the Web or it can come from the web itself. We will be adding a picture from the web in this lesson to text.


In this lesson you will copy text from a famous website add some formatting and an image to make your webpage look better.

You will learn how to:

  • Add text and format the text
  • Use another heading
  • Use the break line tag
  • Add an image to a webpage

After creating the webpage with a famous person, you will create a digital career portfolio using all the tools you will be learning in this lesson.

For the digital career portfolio you will:

  • Add your career information to the webpage
  • Add a money management section, inserting a chart into the webpage
  • Add an image of yourself to the text on the webpage
