Anatomy In Clay: The Respiratory System (CTE)

Students will explore the structure of the Respiratory System and then build one out of clay.

Introduction

Students will label large respiratory diagrams drawing on previous knowledge, identify diseases that happen in this system and create the system out of clay or a clay-like medium. Students will also have the opportunity for peer review.

Students will understand the structure and function of healthy living lungs and their significance in the ability to sustain a good quality of life.

This is lesson 2 of 4. At the end of this 4 lesson series, students will evaluate the long term health consequences of using Vapor Cigarettes.
