Engineering a Hotter Hot Wheel Part 1- Model the Car

by

Introduction

Part 1 of 3 lessons for a Reverse Engineering/Product Improvement unit.

In this lesson, students are asked to bring a small die-cast vehicle to class. They measure the toy using dial or digital calipers and use 3D modeling software to model the main body of the car, excluding the wheels and axles.
