Global Nutrition-Overview

Introduction

Students will learn about the global issues that effect nutrition and wellness. Students will be challenged during an interactive opener to comprehend the realities of world hunger. During this multi-day lesson students will apply statistics and facts of a country toward understanding the realities of global nutrition and wellness. By making this lesson early in the year students can understand that they are fortunate to have a choice in good nutrition.
