HTML and Webpages (CTE)

HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is not a computer programming language that will allow students to build, say a payroll program. It will however teach them to use HTML as a set of markup symbols or codes that manipulate text to display on a World Wide Web browser page. By the time the student completes this lesson, they will have an understanding of some HTML tags and be able to use an HTML editor, manipulate the html and view the html in a browser page.

Explore HTML

Students will learn how to use HTML to format text on a webpage in a browser window like Google Chrome. They will format the text on their webpages by using some basic html tags.

This lesson is a beginning lesson and the expectations should be that the students are not required to produce professional webpages, but rather enjoy learning how to create them.
