Introduction

Students will learn Newton's Method for finding the roots of an equation. Newton's method is an iterative algorithm and will help illustrate the iterative process to the students.

This section is not tested on the Advanced Placement Calculus test. It is taught for the purpose of helping students understand an iterative process for obtaining a solution to a problem
