Lesson 2: Welcome to the Machine Processes

by

Introduction

In this lesson students will learn about machining processes used on machined parts and how to identify them in working drawings. Manufacturing methods will also be presented so that students can make a connection between the objects they will draw during the course of the year and the way they are created in machine shops.

The Power Point presentation shows students how the various machine processes appear in working drawing. They will become familiar with vocabulary, concepts, and techniques that will make them more knowledgable draftsman and designers.
