Lesson 3: Creating Parameters and Types

In this lesson, students will create "material parameters", allowing the furniture material to be changed in the project rather than the family. Students will create multiple "types" for families. BIM model users of the family will be able to make sensible changes to it in the model. Students will understand the difference between a type parameter and an instance parameter and be able to choose/assign appropriately based on family function.
