Lesson 3: Drawing with 2D Elements

Introduction

The students will learn how to draw using many of the common 2D tools in CAD.

Students will produce a CAD drawing and print this out for a grade and keep it for their own use in memorizing these following terms: Line, Polyline, Circle, Arc, Rectangle, Polygon, Ellipse, Spline, Helix, Donut, Construction Line and Ray. Students will learn the various techniques to invoke these tools or commands using the mouse or keyboard in the CAD program of their choice.
