Lesson 3: Duct Sizing



In this lesson, students will first utilize a "ductulator" to calculate duct size based on CFM's. Options for both rectangular and round duct will be covered. After successfully using a ductulator, students will use duct sizing software to calculate duct size based on CFM's. Students will adjust the size of the ducts based on their calculations. Students will create proper transitions for the changing duct sizes.

Teacher: A ductolator is a mechanical device or software that allows users to calculate duct sizes from CFM's in a space.
