Lesson 3: Fence Cost

Introduction

In this lesson, students will receive a survey data from the client showing a contour map. The client is asking for estimates on fencing the property. Student will use the pythagorean theorem to find the real world lengths of the property lines. Students will research cost of different fence materials and create a table showing how many sections each property line needs, cost per section and the cost of fencing.
