## Lesson 3: Geometry Exercises in CAD

### Introduction

In this lesson, students will take their skills on drawing lines and circles, usage of the object snaps, and apply this to the actual geometric constructions necessary to compete projects in 2D CAD. The students have now learned how to draw basic shapes and use them accurately with guides, locks, and object snaps. Now they will learn how to take this to the next level and create modifications of basic geometry. Some of CAD's modify tools like "divide", construction lines with bisect options, scale, copy, rotate, and the creation of polygons with different constraints will all be explored.
