Lesson 4: Orthographic Projection in CAD

Introduction

Students will apply their understanding of orthographic projection by creating multiview drawing of 3D pictorials that have simple features. They will project points, lines and surfaces to create multiviews that include all features and all necessary line types.

Students can you various software - AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks or Sketchup.

Check for understanding during the first 2 drawings to be certain students are drawing correctly.
