Refugees: Protecting Mental Health and Privacy (CTE)


In this lesson students will explore the ways in which ethical and moral decisions affect the emerging trends of refugees. This lecture addresses the need for confidentiality when interacting with a refugee. They will also research how their actions have an impact on themselves, the refugee and society .


In this lesson students will learn the major local, district, state, federal and international regulatory agencies and entities that affect the health industry and how they enforce laws and regulations. Students will explore the concepts and applications of ethical and legal behavior consistent with workplace standards including refugee camps. The focus and theme throughout the lesson will include the role of personal integrity and ethical behavior in the workplace.
