SEO - Getting Results


Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be on-page, in the HTML code, and off-page on other websites that link back to your site. Google is the number one search engine today, but not everyone uses Google. A well-rounded SEO strategy will include optimizations for other search engines like Bing, Yahoo, and YouTube. It will also include directory listings, social media, and other services to help people discover your website.


Lesson 4 of 4

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) happens on-page and off-page. This lesson plan will provide an overview of off-page tools that can help raise your websites overall rank in search engines. 

Students will learn:

  • To find appropriate directory listing services to submit their website too
  • To optimize content for best SEO performance

All instruction occurs in the computer lab, and students will need to login to their computers. Students are expected to begin the login process as soon as they enter the classroom, as has been established by classroom routines.
