Swine Identification

Introduction

Students will be introduced to different methods of swine identification, with an emphasis on the universal ear notching system. Students' attention will be captured by looking at different types of identification documents that we use in our everyday lives. Student focus will transition to identification methods used in livestock, specifically swine. Students will get a chance to read and notch pig's ears.
