Technical Writing Lesson 4 of 4 (Publication & Test Flight)


The final lesson (4 of 4) all of the major components from previous lessons in one digital publication of the instructions followed by the test flight of the final product, a basal wood glider. Digital instruction will be assembled using the free on-line software Flipsnack. Individual assignments include a troubleshooting guide, the final published set of instructions, and a summative assessment of each group's glider.


This culminating lesson (4 of 4) involves students flying and troubleshooting their gliders as well as assembling the instructions into an easy-to-use flipbook. Using previously created PDF files, students assemble the complete set of publishable instructions which consists of three primary parts: safety warnings or precautions, step-by-step procedures, and troubleshooting.
