Introduction

Students will learn how to design web pages with intermediate levels of CSS knowledge and skills. The methods include borders, margin, padding, divisions, and classes. Students will also learn how to use rounded borders with CSS3.

  • Text: Alignment, size, font family.
  • Web page alignment: Centering a web page but using a set width for the container of the web page.
  • Divisions: The importance of using divisions in a web page and how to make and use divisions such as Container, Header, Sidebar, Main Content.
  • Borders: how to change the appearance of borders.
  • Margin and Padding: Giving divisions some outside white space, called “margin” and interior space, called “padding.”
  • Rounded Edges: CSS3 style borders called “rounded edge” borders.
