To Vape or Not to Vape? (CTE)

by

This is the last of a four-lesson series and entails the culminating project. Students will create and present their campaigns on Vapor Cigarettes to a local community group.

Introduction

This lesson examines the long-term effects of using Vapor Cigarettes. Students will asses who Vapor Cigarettes are marketed to and develop their own campaign based on the research they have done in the previous three lessons.

The teacher will facilitate the creation of the students' campaign presentations (rubrics for this are in the resource section where appropriate). Students will present their informational campaigns to a local community of their choice.

At the end of their presentation, students will be assessed by a supervisory adult and the teacher. Students will write a reflection at the end of this lesson based on their experience.
