Why Choose a Healthy Lifestyle? Culminating Project (CTE)

This lesson is presented to students in order to guide and instruct them in the culminating project for the integrated lesson, Healthy Lifestyles Education Project.

Introduction

Wellness and the four main aspects of well-being will be reviewed during the lesson. Students are also given specific instructions in order to plan, execute and present information on "Why Choose a Healthy Lifestyle" to local elementary/middle school students.

Teacher note: Scheduling presentations at local elementary/middle schools needs to be arranged by teacher and or administration 3-4 weeks prior to lesson/project. Allow students two weeks to complete project. Consider arranging this project as a field trip to area schools where students are Public Health Ambassadors, providing important health information to children in community schools.
