Description
Students create photographic self-portraits that visually communicate who they are, as well as send some kind of a message.

Programs and Equipment Used:
-Photoshop to edit photos
-High Quality cameras
-Tripods

Activities Include:
-Learning about portraiture and self-portraiture
-Planning and Photographing image
-Introduction to basic Photoshop editing tools and editing image

The outcome is an edited self-portrait that communicates a message representing who the student is. The self-portrait will be used as the cover or intro to the students' portfolio that is completed at the end of the year. The culminating event will be a gallery showing of the students' work.
